Marie Dolfi, ACSW, LCSW is a NYS licensed clinical social worker. She has a Masters of Social Work degree from the State University of New York at Albany. After a number of years working as a clinician in inpatient and outpatient settings, Marie decided to specialize her private practice to working with individuals whose lives have been touched by adoption, prospective adoptive parents, and expectant parents considering making an adoption plan.

Since 1990 Marie has been active in adoptive families support groups in the Capital Region. She is proud to be an board member of the Adoptive Families of the Capital Region and an Advisory Board member of the Post Adoption Resource Center at Parsons Child and Family Center. After being a member of the New York State Citizens' Coalition for Children for years Marie joined NYSCCC board in 2009 and currently holds the position of Western Vice President for NYSCCC. In addition, Marie is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the North American Council on Adoptable Children, and Voice for Adoption.
